You need the following tools / parts -

- 21/64" drill bit and a 1/8" NPT tap
- Another drill bit a slightly bigger (3/8 or 7/16 or so)
- 1/8" brass pipe about 3/4" long
- 1/8" Brass coupler
- Teflon tape

For the bottomline setup you'd need (requires 2 holes in bottom of grip)
- Bottomline hose the right length (runs from coupler to bottomline adapter on grip)
- Angled Bottomline adapter and 1/8" M/F elbow
- Stainless sheet metal screws to go into the grip
- Drill bit the appropriate size to make 2 holes for the bottomline adapter

For the drilling process, you need to find about where the middle of the 12 gram sits inside the tube. Just take the push rod out and measure on the outside. Mark the spot on the bottom center of the tube. Drill a hole here with the 3/8" or 7/16" drill bit. Make it clean and pretty

Screw in a used 12 gram cartridge. Drill with the 21/64" drill bit through your hole in the tube and through one side of the 12 gram.

Remove the 12 gram from the gun and thread the 21/64" hole with the tap. Put it back in the gun and tighten it in making sure the holes line up properly.

Teflon tape the brass tube and thread it in. Teflon tape the coupler and thread it on. Note: I used a quick disconnect fitting here that the bottomline attaches to.

Add the bottom line setup and it's all set. Check for any leaks and tape / tighten as needed.

You could do a variation on this and use a vertical tank adapter instead of the brass tube. That way you could run a vertical tank, add an expansion chamber or use standard ASA fittings for the bottomline setup.  I'm not sure what style your gun is. Make sure the pump arm has room to clear all this stuff (very tight on a PGP). If not you may have to modify the pump grip or move where things go a bit.
