Distracting Paintball Trip Alarm
This isn't really that complex of a device. I took the
insides out of a card I received from a local phone company. The card rang
like a cell phone when you opened it. I mounted the device inside of a
Laptop PCMCIA card case and cut a small slot to slide a piece of paper
through. The paper goes between the switch contacts and acts as a shutoff
for the device. When the paper is removed the alarm rings like a cell
phone. I would set it up like a trip mine with a string attached to the
piece of paper and something to hold the device in place as it's tripped.
This would be a great distraction to set up on the field as it is a
familiar sound and would stop them in their tracks long enough for a good
head shot. The best thing about this device is the fact that it's small
and lightweight and can be easily be carried in a pocket.
