Cyclone Paintball Mine

I thought a lot about a good design for a new style of mine. I wanted good distance, good coverage of the area and something unique that no one else had made. The cyclone idea was born. It took me a couple months to get it together, but the project itself wasn't all that tough.

I had the rear end of a small / medium size RC car. I lopped off one wheel and made a "cup" out of PVC pieces. I mounted it to the wheel and made it water tight with a couple layers of good epoxy resin. I then drilled and tapped the sides and added the 2 plastic "spouts". I'll see how well they work. If I'm not getting enough paint out if the 1/8" holes then I might add two more or get slightly bigger ones. I am going for a sprinkler effect.

The last step was simply making the base for it to stand straight up. I tested it and it's pretty awesome. Needs a bigger chamber for the paint as most of it comes out before it's even up to speed but it makes a great circular mess! Obviously I'll add some paint / camo to disguise it but I wanted people to be able to see the construction.
