Safe Exploding Paintball Mine

I came up with this idea after reading through some strings on another site. The inquiry was about how to make a demo charge. After posting my idea, I had to follow through and see what happened. My idea was to use a betty type grenade or a squadbuster and a small model rocket engine igniter to make it pop. Well, it worked. You could use the same principle to detonate a much bigger charge. You would get the best results by having it up in the air, but it had a decent splatter radius just on the ground. Results below.

Test #1
Squadbuster refilled with plain old water and taped to hold it in the U shape.

 
I then taped on the igniter.

I attached the wires to the igniter.

The charge is smaller and filled with paint.
