Hey everybody I believe I came to the right place here... I have picked up a pair of cockers and have some questions.... #1 what is the input operating pressure range for these things.... gives me ideas on things I can do.
Ok let's start there for now unless any of you guys know an easy way to lighten up the trigger pull _________________ haha my name is Jeffy

Operating pressure depends on the year / valve setup in the gun. Pre-2k stock valves run HP and can run direct Co2. 2k+ varies a bit but they generally run in the 150-300 PSI range.
What guns did you get? Post some pics and stuff!
Assuming it's a slider and not a hinge frame...
trigger pull is based on 2 springs in the grip frame. One is behind the trigger plate and one is under the grips and pushed the sear back up. They need to be heavy enough to return the trigger / sear promptly but it generally doesn't take too much. _________________ -= MaD =- |

ok I have 2.... 1 of them is a 2k+ with a hinge frame... will add pics later... it has the original 3 way and lpr both might get upgraded in the future... the reg that came with that 1 is about shot.... the consistency of that regulator is horrible... on my pump velocity was ranging from 150-315. I will be ordering a pair of evil detonators to place on both. The 2nd cocker I have I know slightly more about it's a Psycho Ballistics Super Bolt that came bnib from a local field with a pump kit on it. Not too sure on the make of the kit but the handle says SM-1 on the front of it I believe.... this also has a hinge style frame which I will be workin on figuring out how to get the trigger assembly more to my likings... as of now it's WAY to long of a pull which is an easy fix then it's also a little on the stiff side for my likings. About the only thing that I didn't like about the pump this past Sunday wasn't really the guns fault it was the face that I am not used to sizing a barrel for a closed bolt gun.... hmmm interesting. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow of them both for you cocker freaks out there to look at.
there's the non pump cocker that I have... different reg on it and NO drop... I don't like drops anymore _________________ haha my name is Jeffy

I was mostly drooling over the pictures on your site so far BR... when I get some time I will do some more digging.
Oh I do have a question for you... an engineer at my work has an old hurricane that he's trying to figure out how to get the valve out of it. He won't bring it in to me so I can look at it like I have asked him several times. Do any of you guys know how to get the valve out of it? Oh and he also has a functioning KP3 also. _________________ haha my name is Jeffy

Palmers. If it's that old, just send both in for a service. You need a special tool for removing the valve. Also don't waste your time buying detonators. I have two I will sell for $25.00 shipped. They are new.

Dude,
The regs are still yours if you need them. I have no need for them. I only bought them cause they were on sale.
