Paintball Cannon / Launcher Shell Rules

About the only shell allowed at scenario games is the little nerf football. Before making any shells for a field or big game make sure you check into the rules and verify what you can use.

Below are some "common sense" rules which I wrote after venturing through some plans on the web for shells that could cause serious injury or death. I can't say it enough. Glueing paintballs together in the shape of a missle is just stupid. Can you imagine getting hit with one? Good! ... don't shoot crap like that at other people! They're just as "Out" getting hit with one paintball as with a wad of 20.

1. A shell must be soft. If a shell was to hit another player directly, it should not hurt them. It should not inflict pain. It should not be dangerous. It should be as safe as, or safer than a standard paintball.

2. A shell should be as biodegradable as possible. I will follow the tradition of the sport by using biodegradeable materials when making a shell.

3. My paint should be as non-toxic and non-staining as possible. I will use no materials in my paint that are made to cause permanent stains or that would cause serious illness if injested.

4. I will not glue paintballs together to make shells for my nifty launcher.

5. I will use my head and I will not be an idiot when making shells.

6. The owner of this site is in no way responsible for anything you make or do with information found here. If you make something with your own hands, it's your own responsibility.
